During the Week of the Circular Economy from 17 to 22 March, initiators will organise more than 250 events on topics in the circular economy.

Grinding products plays an important role in the circular economy as it helps reuse, recycle and reduce waste.

Here are a few ways in which this process contributes:

  • Resource recovery - By grinding products, materials such as plastic, glass, concrete and wood can be recovered and reused in new products. This reduces the need for new raw materials.

  • High-value recycling - Finely ground material can be more easily separated and processed in high-value applications, such as making new plastic products from recycled plastic or new concrete from old rubble.

  • Waste reduction - By grinding and reusing products, less waste is landfilled or incinerated, which helps reduce environmental damage and carbon emissions.

  • Circular production chains - Many companies use ground-up materials to make new products, extending the life cycle of materials and reducing waste.

In short, grinding makes it easier to bring materials back into the production chain, making it an important part of a circular economy! 😊♻️

Our partner Engisol has already been able to implement many applications in this with Jehmlich grinding mills of which they have the representation for the Benelux.
