Last week, Erik Wesselink met with our colleagues from Albert Handtmann Armaturenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG travelled through the Benelux and visited several companies and startups and it was great to see that so much is happening in our region in the field of protein transition from residual streams in the food industry or completely new processes.

Chromatography plays an important role here to separate/recover proteins, with Handtmann leading the way in the most effective way to collect different proteins using their Radial Flow Columns (RFC).
